FIDE has unveiled a new management structure featuring several key appointments under President Timur Turlov. Emil Sutovsky takes on the position of Chief Executive Adviser, a role that will focus on managing relationships with FIDE's major strategic partners and developing significant partnership initiatives. Sutovsky will also handle specific assignments from the President.

Six additional individuals have joined Turlov's team in various capacities. Victor Bologan and Dana Reizniece were appointed as special representatives of the President, while Mohamed Al-Mudahka, Akaki Iashvili, Willy Iclicki, and Zhu Chen became regular representatives of the President.

The organizational changes took effect on October 26 and included the elimination of the Chief Executive Officer position. Sutovsky previously held the CEO role from 2022 to 2026 before this restructuring took place.
