Short version
Gambit has no accounts and does not sell data. Your saved reading list and theme choice stay in your own browser.
Stored in your browser
Gambit uses your browser's local storage for your theme (light/dark) and your reading list. This never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Hosting and logs
Gambit runs on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Embeds and outbound links
The front page can embed the Lichess daily puzzle and Lichess TV. Those are loaded from Lichess and are subject to its privacy policy. Headlines link to publisher sites, which have their own policies.
