The London Chess Classic has unveiled its complete lineup for the 2026 Masters tournament, set to run from November 24 to December 7 at the London Novotel West in Hammersmith. The ten-player field includes Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Nihal Sarin, and Levon Aronian as the top seeds, alongside established British players Andy Woodward, Gawain Maroroa Jones, Luke McShane, Michael Adams, and Shreyas Royal. Ukrainian participants Vasyl Ivanchuk and Ihor Samunenkov complete the roster.

The competition will follow a Round-Robin format with 90 minutes plus 30-second increments for the first 40 moves, then 30 minutes plus 30-second increments for the remainder. Should multiple players finish level on points, tiebreaks will determine the champion.

The London Chess Classic has been a mainstay of the international chess calendar since its inception in 2009. Chess in Schools and Communities, the charity organizing the event, continues to partner with algorithmic trading firm XTX Markets for sponsorship. Abdusattorov brought the trophy home in the previous edition.
