The second edition of Legends and Prodigies took place in Madrid from September 7 to 12, bringing together a strong field of grandmasters in a classical competition. The main tournament featured six players competing in a double round robin format with a time control of 60 minutes plus 30 seconds per move.

David Anton Guijarro of Spain emerged as the clear victor, scoring 7.5 points out of 10 rounds. His performance proved decisive, finishing one and a half points ahead of second place. The winning margin demonstrated Guijarro's superiority over a field that included some of the strongest players in the tournament.

Jose Eduardo Martinez Alcantara of Mexico finished in the runner-up position with 6 points. Faustino Oro, labeled as a prodigy and competing for Argentina, secured third place with 5.5 points. The remaining spots were filled by Diego Flores of Argentina, Ivan Sokolov of the Netherlands, and Jose Fernando Cuenca Jimenez of Spain.

A separate B-tournament ran concurrently with 10 players competing over 9 rounds in a single round robin format. Francisco Fiorito of Argentina won this division with a score of 7 points. The B-tournament provided opportunities for strong international masters and younger players to compete at a high level.
